Well

its a team challenge, everyone Pitches an Idea to the rep for INC.
the 4 designers he chooses , pick teams of 2 and submit for jusdging

The 4 desingers picked are-

Angela (what???????)
Keith
Bonnie
& Robert

They all pick teams of two, but the only real drama there is angela picks- laura & Michael (good choices as they are both good designers and have proven they can work together well) & Keith picks (Alison & Jeffrey... more on this in a minute)

The work on thier designs (but Kieth is farming out the harder work to his team & is seen doing very little). Suddenly its 12 and everyone must go back home

But the night is not over Kayne has spotted pattern books amongst Keiths possesions and after some dleiberation w/ the rest of the guys...informs the producers

Next Tim visits and very even hadly advices keith he must leave. Keith is saddened but doesnt seem to get this is his own fault ( ibouth them but never used them.................yeah an people who buy drugs and dont use them are not at fault either) > he was kicked not for stealing bobins or designs, but for another violation

The next day all the rest find out & Jeffrey & alison must finish Keiths design w/out him

Now the designs

Robert-he says claissic(but also says airline stewardess). hes right on both accounts. Too high a slit in the back, nina says your all guys you didnt notice (nina- these guys didnt notice)_ Anding insult to injury was a coat that didnt belong w/ the dress. Very luck to escape eviction(vincent has learn something on the show, when asked to critique his teamleader, he was pc & non arguemenative)

Keith- ok, what were those loops hanging down. It had to be something that was convertable, but without knowing, it looked hideious.the pants were slick & tight, but flexible, but it was the cconverytable what ever that ultinmatle cost them imho

Bonnie- Brown unflatering pants, with pink turtlenck, we bad enough, but then they wrapped the model in the jacket, and didnt have her remove the jacket to show the top. Was iot the worse possible, but some one hads to go, and since npo one on her team attacked eacjh other, teamleader Bonnie had to leave.

Angela- What ???? she won?????

sorry

Ok, she again chose wisely, Michael & Laura reigned her in. This was a team win. Nice top, flaired pants, and jacket(cropped) but still had her rosettes.

Apperantly very INC,cause the are producing it and gave it a window at the Flagship store

They need to have a few individual challenges, we just are not seeing enough of wehat some of these designers are cappible of (specifically Michael)

I, too, was astounded that not only was Angela's design one of the ones chosen, but that her team won. You are right; it really was a team effort. I was surprised that Keith's design was the other "good" one because the part of the top hanging down over the pants looked really weird.

I actually disliked Robert's design more than Bonnie's, although his probably fit the Inc. line more than Bonnie's.

As for Keith - I was very glad to see him go. He was an arrogant a**. He seemed proud of the way he bent the rules before he got caught. Whether or not he ever used those pattern books, the rules were apparently very clear on not having them and the consequences there would be if he brought them. He chose to ignore the rules, plus they had reason to send him home on two other violations. He clearly thought that he could get away with his behavior. It was interesting that he essentially blamed the other guys instead of acknowledging that it was his own fault. He tried to lay a guilt trip on the other guys when he was talkiing about how this would make him a laughing stock. Too bad, dude! You read the rules just like everyone else and thought you could flaunt them!

I wrote the review under a time constraint, I hope it made sense-

Agreed (mostly), I found Robert's design boring and Bonnie's more Eye catching. What i meant to say in the review was "Was Not the worse possible, but some one had to go.

I felt that Angela was picked to fail at this challenge (as if Mamet of Inc was told to pick her). She suprised everyone by not just by not failing, but winning //but I still give major credit to Michael & Laura. I still am not a fan of the outfit she made. The cropped jacket didnt impress me,and I think that is was got the judges.

And now that Keith is gone , maybe they can let more of the others shine.

By this time last season, i felt like i knew more about the designers and their styles (and was then able to better critique their designs )

I actually liked Angela's & team design. I didn't like the other ones at all. I thought Roberts design was worse than Bonnies. I'm glad Keith got booted off, he was tool.

I think Angela actually deserved to win. She definitely redeemed herself for at least 2 weeks with immunity.

Yep, I loved Angela's outfit. How much I like it is attributable to Michael and the red haired lady, who are both excellent, I don't know.

I loved the rosettes part and how Michael and Red almost had strokes when Angela started making them. Red suggested using them as buttons, and I thought that looked GREAT. I think those rosette buttons (along with the Empire State Building lining) really made the outfit.

I liked Keith's design too. I thought it really looked good.

Agree about the other two designs. Both were boring as hell. And what's with saying Bonnie's looked like something out of the 70's? Who wore anything that baggy in the 70's? Not me, that's for sure. Even a skinny person would look like a fat frump in it. Maybe they were thinking it was something Maude would wear to cover up her turkey neck.

and since they trade up models,
the one that got run over wasnt necessarily Kayne's Model

I really thought ANgela's design was the best. When I went to the mall last night I saw a few cropped jackets out. I smiled and thought of PR.
You know what I thought of when Keith's model walked out. Those strappy things looked like the arm holes of a tank top. The kind my daughter calls a wife beater. I had that name. But anyhow that's what I thought it looked like, they took a beater and put it upside down.

It looked like next week the models get to pick the designers. Nice twist.

Didnt Keith say something when he was presenting his design about a tank top turning into a dress?

I think he did. The other two may have given up on that whole concept, maybe not knowing how to do it. Seeing as how they didn't have "How To" books in their possession.

I was on Bravotv.com and Tim does an audio rundown of each episode. A lot of interesting things happened before Keith was kicked off the show. Apparently, there were rumblings about the books he had and the producers had a meeting and told the designers if they had any kind of books that were forbidden they were giving them the chance to turn them in. Keith didn't give them the books.

A lot happened and it's worth a listen if you have the time, or even care.
